Curriculum

Graduated in April 9th 1973 at the Engineering Faculty of the University of Genoa. I received a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a grade of 110/110, honors and publication recommendation. I started my academic activity at the same University, firstly as researcher in the Department of Civil Structures and after as Assistant Professor of “Naval construction”. Associate Professor since 1986 of “Naval Construction” at the University of Genoa. An extensive experience has been acquired in the design field, works supervision, testing and safety particularly for public projects. Deepened competencies have been gained on concrete, steel and mixed steel-concrete structures, foundations, retaining walls and tunnels.

Technical consultancies and preventive expert testimonials have been developed in civil and industrial engineering.

  • Member of Genoa Professional Engineer Association since May 13th 1975.
  • President of Genoa Professional Engineer Association from 1993 to 1999.
  • AIPAM (Association of experts in maritime casualties) since April 13th 2000.
  • Licenced to oversee the safety coordination inside the worksite at both project and execution stages.
  • Attended a vocational training on “New Italian seismic regulation” from March to May 2005 organized by the Italian Institute of Welding.
  • Member of Association of experts and Technical consultant at the Genoa Court.

Curriculum

Graduated in December 20th 1965 at the Engineering Faculty of the University of Genoa. I received a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a grade of 110/110 and honors. After the graduation I started my academic activity at the same University, gaining in 1966 the qualification of Assistant Professor of “Machine Design”. Director of the Energy Engineering Department at the University of Genoa from 1986 to 1989. An extensive experience has been acquired in testing public systems (lightening, elevators, air-conditioning, cooling), technical consultancy for relevant companies, simulation of vehicles crashes and HVAC systems.

  • Member of Genoa Professional Engineer Association since January 29th 1968.
  • Council member of Genoa Professional Engineer Association from 1995 to 1999.
  • Licenced to oversee the safety coordination inside the worksite at both project and execution stages.
